Jérôme Barthélemy

Jérôme Barthélemy is professor of strategy and management and former executive vice-president, dean for post experience programs, corporate programs and relations at ESSEC Business School. He is currently a visiting professor at Ecole Polytechnique.
His research has appeared in top academic journals and practitioner-oriented outlets (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review and California Management Review). He has also been the editor in chief of the Revue Française de Gestion, the leading French-language management journal.
He is the author of , Tout ce que vous savez sur le management ... est faux (Dunod, 2019), Libérer la compétitivité (Pearson, 2016) (which received France’s best management book award in 2017) and Myths of Strategy: Dispel the Misconceptions and Deliver a Winning Strategy (Kogan Page, 2022).
He holds a Ph.D from HEC Paris and has been a visiting professor and visiting research scholar at New York University (NYU), Stanford University and Cambridge University.
