EXPERT CASE STUDY PRESENTATIONS
The CEO in the Classroom
16-Jan-2019 14:15 - 14:35
What are the ingredients for inspiring deep and impactful learning at the senior leadership level? In the case of FCB, a global marketing communications company, it began with a remarkable partnership with Oxford University’s Saïd Business School. This collaboration led to a unique and multi-layered experience for the FCB global CEO Summit in 2018. The programme leveraged the time-honoured Socratic tradition of Oxford’s tutorial method as well as pioneering an innovative cross-disciplinary approach that drew widely from across the departments of the University – from classicists through to mathematical biologists, historians and sculptors – in structured conversations with FCB’s business leaders to explore approaches to creativity.
The CEO Summit was an example of detailed responsive design, as well as a model for how to make room for real time emergence and top team leadership coaching to create a powerful learning experience.
