Vivek is passionate about continuous learning in both personal and professional spheres. He has spent his career in Citi, a global organization that supports such a learning journey through formal training programs, on-demand & digital learning platforms and informal mechanisms. He has also recently completed an executive education program with IE Business School, experiencing a unique blended learning approach that allows students to weave in personal and professional experiences via a flexible approach combining classroom and virtual discussions.
Vivek thus has a unique sense ‘from the inside’ of how corporations and educational institutions could best inculcate a culture of constant development. Apart from formal programs, informal mechanisms like instructor interactions, network benefits and manager support will also be showcased as important, yet usually most ignored, support mechanisms for continuous learning. Using some case studies and personal experiences from both his corporate and educations experience, Vivek will share how employees in the workforce of the future may benefit from best-in-class approaches to digital and experiential learning.
