Stefano Pogutz is a Professor of Practice in Corporate Sustainability at SDA Bocconi School of Management, where he also serves as the Director of the full-time MBA program. Additionally, he holds the position of Strategic Advisor at Bocconi 4 Innovation, the pre-accelerator and accelerator at Bocconi University.
Stefano has led numerous research and training projects with organizations such as Enel, One Ocean Foundation, Edison, Diesel, CDP, Ferrero, and many others. His research activities primarily focus on corporate sustainability, environmental management, corporate social responsibility, ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) investments, impact investing, and the management of technology and innovation.
Stefano has received numerous teaching awards at Bocconi University, including the Innovation for Teaching Award in 2017. In 2019, he won the CEMS Outstanding Contribution to the CEMS MIM Award for the course "Model UNFCCC Climate Change Strategies Role Play." Stefano serves as a reviewer for various international journals. He is a member of the Board of Directors and the Advisory Board of several companies in Italy and abroad. Since 2018, he has chaired the Scientific Committee of the One Ocean Foundation.
Stefano got a degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University and a Ph.D. in International Management - Innovation, Services, and Sustainability from the Sant'Anna School, Pisa. He is married and has two children.
