Mark Zakhvatkin is Director of AI & Data at IU International University of Applied Sciences (IU) - part of IU Group, the parent company for both IU and LIBF.  Mark has a foundational background in subnuclear physics and extensive experience in business strategy and data science, developed during his tenure at McKinsey & Company where he worked as both a Generalist Consultant and an Analytics Translator. He leverages his expertise following an MBA from INSEAD to revolutionize higher education through innovative AI applications, including powering the Syntea synthetic teaching product with relevant AI pipelines. His projects significantly enhance operational efficiencies across the whole IU Group.
