Jorge’s professional path is entangled within a large part of Zurich Group’s organisational structure. Starting as an internal costs analyst back in 1988, he quickly evolved to head of planning and performance management in Spain. He then took on the building-up of the financial function of the newly created business units for the company. As a CFO between 2003 and 2009 he implemented Project Octopus and co-led the acquisitions of participations in JVs with Banco Sabadell, Caixa Sabadell and Caja Navarra alongside his regular duties involving planning financial accounting and performance and risk management.  

Recently he launched a customer portal with 60,000 active customers which brought Zurich Group Spain the award for the best insurance customer portal in Spain in 2015 and 2016 and EFMA 2016 bronze award in claims service.
