Nicholas Davis is an expert thought leader in technology and innovation strategy, having managed and launched dozens of major research projects focused on disruptive change and innovation. He has spent more than a decade at the World Economic Forum, supporting governments, multinational firms, and civil society organisations to collaborate on global challenges. He is the former Head of Innovation and Society and a Member of the Executive Committee for the World Economic Forum, responsible for engagement and strategy across their civil society communities as well as their cross-cutting work on “The Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Nicholas is the author of “The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Shaping the New Era”, “Values, Ethics and Innovation: Rethinking Technological Development in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”, and “Sustainable Health Systems: Visions, Strategies, Critical Uncertainties, and Scenarios”.
Nicholas’ recent teaching includes the University of Oxford, Swinburne University of Technology, and the University of New South Wales on topics related to systems leadership, governing artificial intelligence, transforming organizations in the 4th Industrial Revolution, and the Future of Work.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons)University of Sydney, and a MBA (Hons) from the University of Oxford.
