Alan is the current head of Syngenta’s Global 3PM Academy based in Manchester. Shortly after joining, Alan undertook a training (baselining) exercise for the Academy, which resulted in a new 3PM training framework for key training offers aligned to 4 axes of scrutiny (copyright protected). The training framework also offers a number of electives for delegates who would like further subject-matter expertise in key areas such as project leadership, risk management, the basics of agile, etc.

Alan has also introduced an annual 1½ day Training Suppliers Engagement Forum (TSEF), which last year was held in Syngenta HQ, Basel and was open to all of the current Academy training suppliers. TSEF enabled the training suppliers to understand and appreciate the wider role of Syngenta as a global agritech company.

Prior to joining Syngenta, Alan had spent 10 years working in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, undertaking various roles.
