Dr Charles-Henri Besseyre des Horts, PhD holds two doctorates (University of Aix-Marseille and University of California at Los Angeles) and is emeritus professor at HEC Paris. Between September 2003 and September 2008, he was director of the HEC-Toshiba research chair “Nomadism and Mobile Technology” and between September 2012 and July 2015, director of the HEC-Webhelp research chair “Human Capital and Performance”. He has taught 26 years of HEC programmes: HEC MSc in Management (Grande Ecole), HEC MBA, HEC Doctorate, and HEC executive programmes. He created and has managed the HEC ExecEd Strategic HR Management MSc.

His research works focus on change management in companies  and organisations in relation to the digital revolution, and relationships between human capital and corporate performance. He has published numerous articles and more than ten books, including the two most recent ones: “Comment la DRH fait sa revolution” (Eyrolles, 2014) and “RH au Quotidien” (Dunod, 2nd edition, 2015). He has been the president of AGRH (francophone association of HR academics) since October 2017. He remains actively involved in international consulting and training activities in more than 30 countries in Europe, Asia, and Africa. He is, on a part-time basis, the corporate relations director of FNEGE (French National Foundation for Management Education) and a senior advisor of the Adecco Group.
