Mieke holds a Master of Science in Educational Technology from Enschede University in the Netherlands. She started out working in the academy of a large insurance company in 1999. Being very passionate about developing the talents of internal employees she has built her career in various learning & development roles within ING.

As programme manager of the ING International Talent Programme, Mieke is responsible for the attraction, selection and development of 150 international ambitious top-graduates per year in 14 different countries with the high growth potential to become ING’s leading bankers. The programme consists of a four-year development journey to educate the trainees in core banking, track-specific and orange leadership skills in a global mind-set.
