Jim Saker

Professor Jim Saker is the director of the Centre for Automotive Management at the School of Business and Economics, Loughborough University. He is vice president of the Institute of the Motor Industry. He specialises in Strategic Management and Marketing and has published widely in these areas. Jim has worked with many major global corporations including Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, Toyota, Ford, Mercedes-Benz, Renault, and Scania. His claim to fame is that he launched the world’s first degrees in Retail Automotive Management, which have attracted students from around the world, and has delivered the programmes in the Middle and Far East. He is passionate about sport and is currently chair of the Women’s British Basketball League.
