Based in London, Steph joined Google's People Development team in May 2007 after a career in professional acting. Over the last 11 years, her role at Google has spanned programme & people management, training & facilitation, programme & instructional design, leadership development, mentoring, and coaching. She is best known for kickstarting "g2g" (Googler-to-Googler), the peer-to-peer learning programme at Google. Her true passions are knowledge sharing and building supportive communities, and she continues to focus on this as EMEA lead for manager development programmes.

Steph is from Belgium but spent parts of her childhood in the US, Germany, France, and the UK. She struggled at first to stay in one country for more than 2-3 years but in 1999 she moved to London and by the time she and her American partner welcomed their first child in 2010 she had decided to stick around. Today, Steph has three sons and one daughter, who are teaching her lifelong lessons like she never imagined!
