Ivan Bofarull is the director of Global Insights and Strategic Initiatives at Esade Business School, where he also teaches strategy & innovation in Executive Education programmes. He is co-director of The Journey to Business Transformation, an executive program in partnership with Singularity University, the educational initiative set upat NASA’s Ames Park in Silicon Valley. From 2011 to 2016, Ivan was a visiting advisor at Washington, DC-based Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.

Ivan does analysis and research about the future of education and organizational transformation and speaks regularly in global conferences and workshops: In the last few years, Ivan has had the chance to speak at the MIT Media Lab, Singapore Management University, Georgetown University, the Mobile World Congress, a Lego Education summit, a TEDx and at a number of business school industry conferences. He serves in a number of steering committees in the higher education industry and has also consulted in the healthcare/hospitals industry. Ivan is the co-author of the Creative Process Audit, an innovation tool developed with ElBulli Foundation (legendary chef Ferran Adria) and Esade, and a co-leader of the Creativity for Business Innovation challenge (#C4BI). Thanks to the latter, he was a recipient of Esade’s Educational Innovation Award (2016) and AACSB’s “Innovations that Inspire” award (2017).
