The Social Organization
Jon Ingham works as a people strategist, helping companies innovate their management and development approaches in responding to changes in the world of work and also to tie in more closely with their own strategic needs. Much of his work is informed by a strong belief in the potential offered by a smarter investment in people and the consequent opportunity to create new value for a business.
Jon has written several books and articles on the future of work and of the HR function. They include his new book, “The Social Organization”, which suggests that businesses need to focus on the relationships between people as well as on the individuals themselves. He has also recently co-authored an article with Dave Ulrich reviewing opportunities for “Building Better HR Departments”.
Jon has a BA in Psychology, a Master’s in Engineering and an MBA. He has lectured on MBA courses in strategic management, change management, and HR.
