Stuart is the head of Business Development at Alliance Manchester Business School, and the relationship manager for the Leading Complex Projects, Programmes, and Portfolios (LCP3) programme. He is an experienced commercial director with a keen interest in promoting collaborative working as a means of achieving sustainable partnerships between universities and organisations.

He has a demonstrable track record of having worked in higher education for 13 years, initially in knowledge transfer and professional development at the University of Glamorgan and then as the director of Management Development Programmes at the University of Salford. He then led the team responsible for setting up Salford Professional Development Limited, which was successfully launched in 2012. He joined the Executive Education team at Alliance Manchester Business School in March 2015. He is responsible for leading a team of client directors and business development managers focused on Executive Education customised and open programmes, consultancy, and sponsorship.
