Richard’s main experience and expertise is designing and delivering commercially aligned HR & OD solutions that deliver people and business change and performance.   He has held a number of senior HR roles with global companies such as Astellas Pharma, Huntsman Chemicals and Paul Hartmann (Medical Devices).  He has also worked on a project with Novartis Pharma on a major organizational design project, implementing a new IT service delivery model.

Richard has lived and work in Germany or Switzerland for most of the last 17 years.  He is currently based in Ulm and is both a bi-lingual German speaker and a Fellow of the UK‘s HR professional body (FCIPD).  Richard recently embarked on a new career chapter, delivering change and performance solutions on a consultancy and interim basis.  He also enjoys delivering projects with talented and passionate individuals in his extensive international network and is MERIT's expert consultant on the subject of sustainable organisational learning practices .
